Âmok/Âmok VZW is a joint venture and partnership between composer Adam Vincent Clarke (CA) & maker/performer Lore Borremans (BE). The company encompasses a multitude of creative partnerships centred around the work of Adam & Lore, ranging from physical theatre, opera and ballet, to film and pure musical performance.

Our creations often form from a narrative approach. The narrative is intuitive, a reflection on human elements shared between all of us; a search for balance between fragility and bluntly following instinct. Our works seek to illuminate the shadow side inherent in each of us.

Mission statement: Âmok/Âmok focuses on upholding and challenging tradition. We create space for dialogues; trying to pause judgement, whilst embracing differences and similarities. In Âmok/Âmok we are restlessly driven by curiosity, wanting to devour the unknown.
