Âmok/Âmok is a Belgian - Canadian music -and dance theatre company founded by Lore Borremans & Adam Vincent Clarke.
As Âmok/Âmok we place a major focus on upholding and challenging tradition in physical art & musical performance. Through sound and movement, we create space for dialogues; trying to pause judgement, whilst embracing differences and similarities. Restlessly driven by curiosity our philosophy is to dive into, and devour the unknown.
With Adam and Lore at its core, the company is an ever-evolving team of international performers that expands and contracts, including collaborations with Troubleyn/Laboratorium, HERMESensemble, Muziektheater Transparant, De Blikfabriek, The Canada Council for the Arts, the Canadian Music Centre, and Picanto.
